XPS 13 9350 Windows 10 Update stalled because of out-of-date Intel RST driver
My Windows 10 1803 will not update to 1903 because my version of the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) driver is too old. The driver Dell currently supplies is version 15.2.2.1030. But according to Microsoft, newer versions of Windows 10 require at least version 10.5.2.1054. The relevant Microsoft support page is here.
What is Dell doing about this? Is there going to be a supported Intel RST driver for newer versions of Windows 10? My current version of Windows 10 has an "end of service" date of Nov. 12, 2019.

Most people do not have RAID installed on their system, but they get Intel Rapid Storage Technology anyway. You can read what Intel says about RST. There is more to it than just RAID.

What driver is your SATA controller using?

I have an XPS 13 9350 and just tried using the Intel support site, as suggested by shep914 and others, but when it scanned my laptop it came back stating that my software was up to date! It isn't though, I still have the old RST driver from 2016 which won't allow me to update Windows.
Any ideas what I should try next?
