2019 2in1 bad audio when screen is closed only

Hello,

I know Dell has had their fair share of audio problems with their laptops over the years. This one is a little different and no matter what I try I cant fix it. The audio is perfectly fine until I close the lid (while using an external monitor) and then it gets extremely crackly. To the point where its useless. As soon as I open the lid back up it works just fine again. Ive done everything imaginable with drivers and even tried WIndows 10 fixes and nothing has worked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
