E6430 - No networks found

Hello

TD;DR - Working WLAN card but "No networks found" - on ANY os.

My brother have an E6430 laptop with i7. one day it started to make some wifi disconnections, and one day it just moved to an Airplane Mode and refuse to go back to "regular mode" - so any wifi(internal or external, even ethernet port) didn't work from that moment.

I assumed that the wifi switch is failed - so I bought a new switch and then, after replacing it - it back to "regular mode".

But - one new problem appeared then - wifi is working(laptop is actually recognize the 6205 intel card) but no wireless network is shown in the list! I mean, there is plenty of wifi networks around it and still there's a "No networks found" on windows 8.1, fresh install .

I tried with another linux distros, and even another 6205 WLAN card(that is working for sure) and the laptop IS recognize it BUT it never show me any wireless networks list.

Basically - The OS is fine(drivers installed correctly), The WLAN card is fine too(tested on another laptop) and the WIFI switch is also fine so I can move from airplane to regular mode without any issues.
If so - I wonder what the hell is going on with this laptop!

I have to mention - now with the new switch - I can connect a usb wifi dongle or ethernet cable and it's work! but the internal wifi not working at all!

I'll be grateful for any help - thank you!

If you do a brand new installation of Windows 8.1 as you claimed, you need install the drivers starting with the chipset.

I did, and still not working.

I mean - even in Linux I can see the card but not able to use it.

I'm sure it's hardware - but if it's not the card fault, and not the os fault - what can it be?
