Hello can i upgrade my processor to i7 core

These only shipped with up to i5 CPUs, so that's an unknown. They only take first-generation Core i CPUs (i5-330m, etc.).

The CPU is probaly soldered to the Motherboard. You may be able to find a Motherboard with the i7 you want. But would it be worth it?

I thought the CPU was soldered. I know my Inspiron 3542 is. I just don't mess with Laptop's much not the CPU anyway.
