Hello,

Where I can set the cTDP setting of the ROME procesor in bios of an EPYC Server (R7525) ¿?

I don't manage to find the parameter.

    Thanks.

If someone is looking for that, newer bios have this setting. GREAT!

Hi,

I didn't find any topic related to the cTDP settings on a R7525. As I know this feature not exist on your server.

For more information, you can read the related documentation : https://dell.to/3sn5LtE

Thanks for the reply.

It is a shame because it is precisely one of the best characteristics of EPYC processors to be able to increase their performance in systems with little load.

Hello, please check your BIOS is up to date https://dell.to/3VD5RLo

I found this information under processor settings from the BIOS reference guide. But I don't have any R7525 to check this feature on the BIOS. Might be thread's owner can be helpful.

Configurable TDP Allows the reconfiguration of the processor Thermal Design Power (TDP) levels based on the power and thermal delivery capabilities of the system. TDP refers to the maximum amount of power the cooling system is required to dissipate. This option is set to Maximum by default.
NOTE This option is only available on certain SKUs of the processors, and the number of alternative levels varies as well.

Hope that helps!
