XPS 15, bluetooth, USB, camera, &c. just quit working all at once?

I'm trying to figure out if it's hardware or some windows update thing.  The whole $2500 laptop just turned into something less useful than a chromebook.

Has this happened to anyone else in the last few months, related to a software update or something similar?

If you haven't done so yet, power off the computer. Remove all peripherals such as speakers, external portable drive or flash drive, wait a few minutes, power on computer, hopefully Bluetooth, USB and camera are working again.

If devices still don't work, run Dell Offline Diagnostic tool to check Hardware within the computer.

Just follow the steps below:

1. Power off computer.

2. Power on computer, quickly start tapping F12 continuously until you see Preparing One Time Boot Menu in top right corner of screen. In Dell Preboot menu, select Diagnostic. Report back any error code.

If no error code, run the System Restore tool on the computer. The tool will go back to an earlier time when the devices were all working.
