DVI Connection to Vido Card

I have 17 a 17303FPT monitor with div and analog connection. My vidio card is 128MB DDR NVIDIA GEFORCE 5200 card with dvi and analog connection. DVI Pin connection configuration is diffrent from the monitor on the vido card. At the factory, my monitor was preconnected to the analog output.
Mr Dell moderator please explain, when the system was tested out that they did not pick up the miss match for the vidio connection.

I am reffering to cable connection between the monitor and the vidiocard.
Can make connection to the DVI port on the monitor but can not make connection to the DVI port on the vidio card.

vjay2k2,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

There is no mismatch. I looked at both the monitor and the video card connections and see that your monitor has a dvi connection and your video card has a dvi connection. Not really sure what connection issue you are having with the monitor and video card.

I just ordered a system with the same setup, the 128MB DDR GeForece FX 5200 Graphics Card with TV-Out and DVI and the 1703FP Flat Panel Monitor.    It sounded like your cable didn't match up properly.  Did you get your question resolved?

Problem was with the cabel. They sent the wrong cable with the monitor. New cable is on it 's way.
