I recently bought an alienware area 51 threadripper edition (R6, 16-core). The system is EXTREMELY loud. It does not sound like a bad noise, just sounds like the fans are at full blast all the time. Even when I have headphones on it is very loud.  I joked with some friends that it sounds like an airplane taxi-ing on a runway.  I read some reviews online talking about how quiet the system is, so clearly something is wrong.

I talked to customer support about the issue, but they didn't seem to know what they were doing.  All they did was update the bios and uninstall and reinstall the alienware command center. I had to show the person helping me how to reinstall the command center.....sigh......

They support person left because they couldn't figure out how to adjust the fan settings in the command center and they "escalated" the issue. After disconnecting with them, I figured out how to adjust them myself (another update was required after reinstall). Even after adjusting the fan settings in the command center, the noises were still the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
