AW3423DWF, gamma 2.2 wrong

Hi,

I recently found a Reddit post regarding monitor's gamma being wrong. In short, it was mentioned, that AW3423DWF Creator mode sRGB gamma setting 2.2 is wrong. I tested this and noticed that it indeed seems to be so. In all black level tests I have found the color #010101 (black level step 1) is noticeably grey compared to #000000 (not barely seen but clearly seen as grey, multiple steps above true black). The other gamma settings don't have this issue, maybe some mild black crush instead. Compared to 2.0 and 2.4, 2.2 looks washed overall. If Creator color space is set to DCI-P3, even gamma 2.2 seems ok, but obviously I want to use sRGB for SDR content. The calibration sheet that came with the monitor states that the sRGB is calibrated with gamma 2.2. I have firmware M3B104 installed.

You would need to test with a calibrator to determine the actual gamma in sRGB color space.
