17 R4, 2080 Ti, AGA, not working
Equipment/Software =
Alienware 17 R4 Laptop
New AGA (Alienware Graphic Amplifier)
New Nvidia GeForce 2080 Ti in AGA
Windows 10
Bios 15 updated
Problem: AGA only works very briefly then get windows error code in device manager =
“Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)”
HDMI nor DisplayPort output does not work on AGA
Graphic Amp USB ports work
Tried thus far:
1) Updated Bios
2) Installed latest GeForce Driver
3). Installed Alienware Graphic Amp software
4) Windows completely update.
5). Uninstall Card and reinstall GA software and GeForce drivers, Device manager indicates all is good until I plug in a display to the HDMI port, then it craps out and windows error code appears
5) Completed deleted all drivers and related software and reinstalled, same issue, Device manager showed connected then it craps out when I try to plug in a display
6). Graphic Amp is present in Alienware Command Center App
7) Have tried 2 different displays and Oculus Rift, HDMI does not work. Just very briefly works. One time entire laptop locked when I opened the NVIDIA program.
