I'm wanting to throw some upgrades into an older m17 laptop?
I want to upgrade board, chip, memory is that possible?
Where can I find parts? I have kind of looked without much luck.

Mainboard upgrades are not possible; CPU upgrade will depend on what you have now but will need to stay within the same generation of CPU.
Memory upgrade will also depend on how much RAM is in the system now -- you may or may not be able to upgrade.

Memory should certainly be possible unless your system already has the max supported memory installed. But what "board" and "chip" are you referring to?
