Go to Solutionx17 R1, battery failure and replacement
My ALIENWARE x17 R1 displayed a warning sign that reads
" Your battery has experienced permanent failure and needs to be replaced"
"the battery cannot be identified. The system will be unable to charge this battery.
This laptop is about 3 month old or slightly less. Why am I experiencing this issue and where I can get a genuine replacement x17 R1 Alienware battery?

Aaril,
We only have record (Service Tag) of you having the 2019 m17 R1, not the 2021 x17 R1. You need to contact DELL-Cares via private message and provide the 2021 x17 R1 Service Tag.

Contact Dell directly. Your new computer and original battery are under one year warranty.
