avamar client cluster with 3 node
I need help because I have a problem with the backup of Virtual SQL Server.
This cluster have 3 physical node with 2 virtual SQL server .
When I try resource on AvamarClusterConfiguration, I have a error that says not found the file cid.bin
How Can I resolve this issue???
Hello,
The cid.bin file will be created when Avamar client is registrated to the Avamar server .
This could be related to networking, client-server comunication, DNS stuffs, firewall ...
Have you checked event logs (system & application) too ?

Hi,
I would check the avagent.log for details of why the registration is not working - it should be in the shared "var" directory that you specified in the AvamarClusterConfiguration tool.
