How to find out what is causing cpu load for datamover
Hi
So how to find out which resource is causing high cpu load for DM?
We're hitting 90-100% almost everyday for few hours.
Of course right now I have a dedupe process going but it's not the reason as it doesn't make that much in the evenings.
Yes we do have several thousand users connected all the time. CIFS nfsv3 and nfsv4.
I have another box running on the other site and I'll load balance stuff there but I'd like to know what to move there.
No replications going on.
Looking at top cifs talkers and top nfs there's not that many operations going on.
Server_stats doesn't show that much traffic 5-30 megs in and out.
No backups going on.
Disk are doing much more work (about double) than network but some of that is dedupe and some is checkpoints (I guess)
Looking at analyzer disks are doing fine. So no problem there.
Dart 6.0.41.408
NS-480 with 2 dms. (Active/Spare).
Any help appreciated.

Hello jukokkon
I would suggest you to contact EMC so that we can collect network trace and find the reason for the high load on CPU.
Thanks
