The memory allocated for use by the SP itself is predetermined and can't be changed. Cache limits are documented in the Open Systems Configuration Guide available on Powerlink.
If you wan't to change the cache settings you have to disable the cache; then you can change the settings and then reenable the cache. During the time you'll have a performance impact (due to the reason that to don't have the cache enabled...) so don't to that when you have heavy load on the system. best regards Manfred
You can't change the memory used by the SP itself. What's left is what you can use for caching. But don't worry, the SP's don't use up all your memory; there should be plenty left for reasonable R and W cache and the bigger and better the Clariion, the more memory will be left over for R and W cache.
