Hey guys. I know this is going to seem like a bad question but please humor me if you will.

OK we had the dell tech do on site install of the sc2040 yesterday. Can you guys give me all the details you know about VIP's? Is it the same as HSRP VIP? And should I be able to ping the VIP on the dell set up? Right now for some reason they made the VIP the same as the VIP we use on our core 1 switch HSRP. That should not be the case I assume because ip conflicts are bad for any network. If you guys have any diagrams you can throw at me that would be great.
