Hello, I am having an issue with the audio on my Dell G7 7790. I use headphones all the time and my laptop has Realtek HD audio drivers and i like the audio quality. However after I updated the audio drivers recently the audio sounds terrible. It sounds so deep and it sounds like its coming from the inside of my head and makes my eyes water. I have tried messing with some of the settings like turning on and off audio enhancements and spacial sounds as well as reinstalling the drivers but nothing makes it go back to how it was before. Has anyone experienced this before? Any help would be appreciated.
I fixed it. I went to this website: https://realtek-download.com/download-realtek-hd-audio-drivers-all-version/ and downloaded the oldest version available for windows 10: version 2.77 and restarted. It worked and audio sounds like it used to. I learned that when it comes to computer drivers if it ain't broke don't fix it. Don't download driver updates unless there is something that needs to be fixed or some sort of security flaw. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.
We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.
Bernasaurus says: type services in Search, select and right click the app and run as administrator, in services scroll down to Nahimic and right click for properties, change start-up type to disabled, stop the service. Keep an eye on this every time Dell pushes updates, as may be upgraded and enabled again.

I followed the instructions and tried restarted but the audio still sounds bad. I have noticed that turning off audio enhancements through windows control panel->hardware and sound->sound->speaker/headphone properties->advanced helps a little but doesn't solve the issue.
