Miracast?

After a recent update my computer no longer wirelessly streams to my TV.  I assume this was initially done through Miracast (Although I could easily be wrong)  I would like to be able to stream to my TV again.  any hints would be helpful.  I have also noticed that Pandora is really spotty and will freeze.  They could easily be unrelated, but I noticed both issues at the same time.  I am not technology inclined, so small words and pictures work best.

Also, I have Dell Inspirion 5482

Please and thank you.

    Thanks.  I tried that and couldn't not easily find a solution. As i said, I am not particularly technology inclined.  However, after being on the phone (mostly on hold) for nearly 4 hours, we got it working.  I think they said I needed updates for my Windows and Driver.... I think.  Nevertheless, they were successful and I am able to connect to my TV!!

    My computer told me to update, so I did.  Then the following day when I went to stream to my TV,  the computer would never recognize the TV in order to connect

    @PPaige

    You are going to have to Google miracast stopped working and see which of the suggestions work.

    It can be any number of things that is causing the problem.
