OS Recovery Tool
I just bought two G5 5500's to 'mirror' at my two computing locations. I am still figuring out how I want to migrate my current 'mirror' from my old hardware. In the meantime, I would like to play with one of my new to me laptops. But I also want to be able to start with (mostly) identical hardware / software settings on the Dell's when it is time to migrate. Is my assumption correct that the Recovery Tool will allow me to roll back the machine I play with to the configuration that was in place when I initially received it from Dell?
Thanks,
Mike

The answer is no -- it will revert the system to a vanilla Windows 10 install for your system. If you want a full backup of the system as it shipped, you'll need to make your own image and recovery media (Macrium Reflect/Free Edition can do this easily).

Thank you. I will do as much with the unit I do not play with.
