First of all, I'm from Belgium, so sorry if my English is not very good...
I received an Inspiron N5110 from a friend. Since he didn't find his charger, he bought a chinese one. The laptop refused to charge he told me.
OK, I bought an original one on eBay (refurbished) and tried. When I put the power cord in place, the blue LED on the connector lights. But once I put the jack in the laptop, blue light goes off and doesn't charge of course. Thought the problem maybe came from a defective battery, so removed it. No change.
I think the problem is internal, after the jack input. Any idea of how much it would cost to let check this by Dell ? Or maybe suggestions ?

Thanks in advance.
Either the problem is DC jack board or the motherboard. The cheaper one to try fix first is replace DC jack board.
