Go to SolutionYou are completely right it is 1500! Now I feel completely ripped off after ordering an area 51 with one, I may need to cancel my order and just stick with dual gtx 980.
If the gpu was custom overclocked with a waterblock it would make a little more sense. But charging that much for a titan x reference card is just robbery. The reference cards aren't even hard to get right now.

All prices will be generally different from US to CAN because of the exchange rate. As for the Titan X who knows, probably because people will pay for it. Then again I can't fathom spending 1000 dollars on a graphics card alone myself.
Dual GTX 970s cost +$650 from the R9 270.
So the TITAN X is still a +$1.4k upgrade. I would think they're charging so much is because they don't have many in stock to sell.
As for the CPU upgrade price, remember to factor in that they're factory overclocked, and Dell/Alienware likes to charge a lot for the overclock (they did overclock the i7-5960X by 0.5 GHz, though).
Shipping time for it is 16 to 20 business days compared to the other GPU configs. If the shipping time drops to 5 to 7 business days, then there needs to be a better reason as to why this is.
I'm not sure why you singled me out, so do stay away from me. I'm not in the mood to talk about this since I have things to worry about. Don't go assuming anything that I haven't stated or said or implied. If you want to battle out with Dell/Alienware, that's on you. Don't drag me into it.
