I have seen various topics similar to this but cannot find a solution

My specs : Alienware m17x R3. 3d, gtx 560m,8 gig ram,windows 7 64bit,

From the time I purchased this laptop a few months ago i am having terrible stutter in newer games like APB:reloaded, assassins creed 3 but also happens in not so graphical games like Omerta:city of gangsters.

What basically happens is a lock up every few seconds whilst playing games, i have even noticed a slight lockup windows.By lock up i mean a lag for around a second or 2. 

I have tried Reinstalling windows and all drivers seperately.

Temps sit below 60 degrees.

Memtest,hdd check,cpu test have all came back normal.

Tried A12 bios update.

Repasted CPU and Gpu, also cleaned fans and heatsinks.

Tried disabling Bigfoot wireless.

Can someone please attempt to assist me on this matter as i have bought the Laptop 2nd hand from ebay, warranty has expired.
