X51 Upgrade?
Evening all,
Just a quick one, I'm not overly tech-savvy when it comes to computers, in fact I barely know the basics besides just general computer based things... Anyway, that's not why I'm posting.
I have an Alienware X-51, and I believe the R1 model with the following stats;
Intel(R) Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
8.00 GB RAM
64-bit OS
Intel HD Graphics 4000
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 555.
Basically my question is, are there many upgrades I can perform on the comp to increase the performance. Currently with some new games coming out I under perform now after a couple years of having little to no issue running most games. I'm well aware that it's a bit dated, just didn't want to have to go through a slog of trying to replace the computer and having to purchase a new one. Not high on the priority list but it's always good to know you can run a game without it dropping frames or quality.
Any suggestions are well received.

Well, you can double the amount of RAM you have and upgrade your GPU, but I would upgrade the GPU first.
You can get a GTX 960, which would be a step up from your GTX 555.
