i have disabled all the startup programs that were on the list i printed from this site, but i have a few that weren't on there.

- I would uninstall Attune as quickly as I could get the junk off my machine. MSMSGS is MSN messenger service I believe. I would uninstall it if you don't use it. Microsoft Works update detec is not needed. You can manually check for updates. If you don't use an answering machine with your system I would get rid of it. Resolution assistant is your choice but I uninstalled mine.
- Here's my two cents worth:
MSMSGS: MS messenger. If you can live without it starting at boot then uncheck it.
MS works Update detection: Uncheck and check the update site manually every 6 months or so.
Attuned: NO it's NO good. Don't uncheck this one, uninstall it. It causes more problems than it's worth.
Upd reg: Don't know.....
Resolution assistant: Don't know if that needs to run at start up but kind of imagine it does. Wait for others to respond on this one.
Internet answering machine: Don't know....
