  Just thought there may be some gems of wisdom out there on the topic. Anyone have much experience with a setup of Soundforge (probably ver.7.0) with an Audigy 2 ZS? I have the ZS Platinum pro on order, not too much of a gamer but not a stranger to it. Not really my concern, and home theater isn't a problem, it's implementing a cost effective, and space efficient studio setup with a few AKG condensers and I believe a Marshall studio mic, and a board. I have a 4600 w/ Intel P4 @ 2.66 and 512mb ram, the processor is @ 800mhz, and the ram at 400mhz, pretty happy with the setup but would there be much audio distortion/sound clipping? If anyone is running a home studio on a windows pc please help. I know I shoulda bought a mac but didn't have the dollairos this time.hehe,
