Re-activate integrated vieo controller

I'm replacing an old Dimension with an Inspiron, & need to remove the PEG graphics card but the on-board controller is disabled & I fear ending up with no active controller at all!

I'm looking at the Primary video screen of BIOS & it's set to onboard/PEG. Can I make the m/c use whichever controller has a monitor attached to it? If I just remove the graphics card, will the onboard ctrllr automatically reactivate? Could I do this by using Device Manager to disable the card?

Help, please.

Thank you, yes I've seen that screen a few times now. My concern is how to get back to using the integrated controller, preferably without physically removing the peg video card.

You CANNOT.   This is not allowed.  You must REMOVE the card to use onboard.
