Clumsy- Superglue on LCD Screen

I was trying to superglue something totally unrelated to my laptop (Insp 5150) and the tiny tube slipped from my hands and landed on my keyboard.  The < and > got some glue on them and only left tiny smears when I wiped them off.  I glanced northward, however, and saw some dots on the screen so I immediately went for them with my fingers (big mistake) and then (sadly) spitwashed the place with a napkin... I now have a three inch long eye sore of a streak on the last fourth of my screen to the right.  It is "Instant Krazy Glue"... does anybody have any suggestions on how to safely remove this streak of glue?  I would hate to have to send it back to be replaced all for a streak of superglue.

    OH man thats horrible! That has to be one of the worst things I heard being spilled on a lappy! Only thing I would suggest is checking with the manufactuer on what to remove it with. I'm sure they won't have any suggestions for removing from a LCD screen but it might give you an idea of what its gonna take to get it off. Or maybe do a google search for "removing super glue". Once you find what takes to get it off (if anything) dilute the heck out of it and work your way up in strength, most likely what ever removes super glue isn't gonna be good on your screen. Not sure what else to try, maybe someone else will know more. I really don't see how that could be removed without causing some damage or atleast leaving some sort of marks.

    STOP.  Both solvents will ruin the LCD, and the glass cleaner with ammonia with permanently streak it.  Bad idea!
