I have been researching the dell forums for months looking through almost every question about my problem and i have tried so many things and i'm finally asking for help. I upgraded my Dell Latitude E6400 Laptop to Windows 7 32bit in january and since then i have been unable to get my fingerprint scanner to work again. I had it set up Embassy and DCP when I still had windows vista and when i upgraded to win7 my broadcom USH driver malfunctioned. I finally found the right driver on the dell website and got all my drivers updated as far as i can tell and as soon as i set off to set up my fingerprint scanner using embassy and DCP (which i just reinstalled today) the fingerprint wizard tells me my scanner is not connected. since my scanner is internal i know for a fact that it is still connected and i have been racking my brain forever trying to figure this out. I have yet to find a forum with a clear solution to this problem. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!
