Mobile Intel (R) help missing?
I downloaded a program this morning, coral paint shop as a trial and ever since then my Inspiron 1545 as been loading up really slow, and it has a yellow exclamation mark next to mobile Intel (R) in my devices. I am no good at finding these drivers so I was hoping somebody could help me? all my grapics seems to be messed up, like my firefox is all big and so is my desktop even though it's set on the same settings it always has been.
Why has this happened and how can I fix it?
Thanks so much
Lauren

Hi there thank you for your reply, I tried what you suggested. I see that in the Display Adapters field it says 2 X Mobile Intel (R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family. I am using Windows XP, is there a Intel (R) for XP?
Thanks again for helping me out, I really appreciate it!

Hi Paul, I did as you said and the first one installed fine, but the 2nd one did not and asked me for a CD. I rebooted and the yellow exclamation marks are still there :(

Hi Lauren,
Well it seems to me that there is some problem with the driver and certainly this has nothing to do with the coral paint shop that you have installed. Now why this happened, could be due to many reasons. May be the computer installed some updates for the graphics and then it wasn't able to install properly so it reverted to default graphics or could be any XYZ reason. But do not worry we can go ahead and get this fixed for you.
Now Inspiron 1545 comes with two video cards. Either you will have Intel Graphic video card or ATI video card. To see which one is there on your computer, you would have to check the Display Adapter field in Device Manager. Re-installing the video driver will fix the resolution problem. So to re-install the video driver you would have to first download it.
To download Intel Video driver click here and to download ATI video driver click here . (Note: These are for Windows 7, 64-bit)
Once you have downloaded the driver, double click on it and follow the instructions to install it.
Restart the computer and see if you still see any exclamation mark in the Device Manager window.
Hope this helps.
