The Dell monitors do not have a TV tuner. You can connect a DVD or VCR player to it since it has component and S-video connectors (well, most of the Dell monitors do), but to watch TV, you would need a seperate TV tuner box, or an HD cable/satellite box that you could use the component or DVI cable with.

You could buy an HD tuner card for your PC and watch TV while web surfing.
