Bought this 4K monitor for use with the Mac mini M2. Problem is with resolution. When I initially set the resolution in the Mac Control Center, when the Mac mini M2 goes to sleep it "loses track" of this S2721QS and goes to a default lower resolution. Can't change. Found the only way to "solve" is to restart the Mac mini M2, and then it detects correctly the S2721QS and the resolution I wish to use.

Talked to a Dell support person and she advised downloading the Dell DDPM driver/app. Did that, but I can't get the app to run on the Mac mini M2. Launching it does nothing. I read somewhere on Dell support site that you need to connect monitor to computer via USB. This S2721QS only has an HDMI connection.

So not sure what to do? Apparently I can perform another work around by turning off the S2721QS when I'm done working, and even if the Mac mini M2 falls asleep when I wake the computer and turn on the S2721QS all is still well. This is a lousy workaround.
