This came to my notice when i bought Dell SE series SE2726D 27 inch 2K monitor. it has a black patch around 1 cm on the top left corner of the display. When i tried to reach the customer care via toll free number they are saying to visit website and when visiting website they are saying to contact customer support. I don't know how to raise the claim as the monitor is new and i have bought just 20 day ago and has warranty with it. Also, I'm afraid if the patch will grow in the meantime. 

@dell please look in to this matter.
