When I connect USB devices via the USB1/2 upstream ports, these devices appear to utilize the monitor's USB 3.0 connection. However, as soon as I connect the Type-C connector, all of the USB devices are _re-routed_ through the Type-C USB 2.0 connection. I can't seem to utilize the upstream 3.0 ports when using the Type-C input.

Is it possible to split the the data signal from the Type-C input? In other words, I want to use Type-C only for video/audio (like HDMI) but not for other USB devices connected to the monitor. If this is not possible, doesn't this effectively makes the monitor's USB 3.0 hub useless when utilizing a USB-C connector? I imagine this must be a common problem for anyone using high bandwidth video devices like capture cards or webcams. AFAICT, it doesn't seem like the "USB Selection" menu in the monitor allows you to do this.
