We are running Networker 8.1.0.5 with EBR VM appliance that points directly to a DD640.

During my tests, I have created a backup policy and unchecked the concurrent box on the policy action.

However, if I assign three VMs to the policy and run it, all three VM backups are launched simultaneously.   I would prefer to have the policy launch the backup jobs in sequence since our VMware datastores does not have the IOP capability to run multiple jobs.

I know I can define policies for each VM and schedule them to run at separate times, making sure that the backup times do not overlap.   But this to me is an inefficient method when you have 200+ VMs.   I'd rather not create and manage 200+ policies.

The documentation does not mention anything except for the concurrent checkbox....this does not seems to work (or perhaps I'm misunderstanding what concurrency actually means and how it works in a policy action).

Perhaps I need to disable 7 of the 8 internal proxies to allow sequential backup processing?

Any suggestions?
