Inspiron 6000 Dropping Connection Randomly
I got a new Inspiron 6000 a couple weeks ago and everything has been working great except the connection. For some reason it keeps dropping connection for 5-60 seconds a couple times a day. None of my other wireless devices lose connection during the same time and I can see the traffic activity on my firewall. It shows packets being sent out but no packets being recieved.
I have never encountered this problem before and don't know how to trouble shoot it. It is extremely annoying, especially in online gaming.
I have a Netgear wireless router and the Inspiron has a Intel Pro Wireless 2200BG adapter. The driver is 9.0.2.31 (latest version I think)
One of the things I noticed is under advanced tab it says the ad-hoc channel is set to 11. Should it be set to 3, the same channel my router is operating on?
