My 600 M

I just recently received my 600M and I am having problems with teh wireless connection. It seems as though it indicates that the connection has been connected. But when I click on to Internet Explorer, the webpage would not pop up. I really dont understand. I mean it indicates that I have been connected but yet I still cant use it. What should I do now? ... i also refresh it and tried other connections, doesnt work also... HELP

Are the security settings on the network adapter consistent with any you have enabled on the router (WEP or WPA encryption, MAC Address filtering, etc.)?  Are you getting an IP address from the router?

Let me re-phrase my problem. I am trying to connect with other wireless connection around my area. I have checked and I do get an IP address for example Calstate Long Beach.

Note that many wireless networks, unless they are unsecure free wireless hotspots, require that you either pay a fee or register your system on the network for security purposes.  Are you sure you are getting a valid IP address for the network(s) you are trying to connect to.  If Windows cannot obtain an IP address it assigns one called an autoconfiguration IP address.  Such autoconfiguration IP address begin with the numbers 169, and will not provide wireless access.  Most wireless routers give an IP address that begins with 192.168.

I am having the same problem with my 700M.  I have sucessfully connected to an unsecure wireless router.  All the icons on my toobar indicate that my WiFi is connected.  Clicking on Start, Connect to, Wireless Internet connection indicates a status of connected.  But when I try to open Internet Explorer, Firefox, or anything internet related, it will not display the page.  I've tried to connect to the internet using a LAN connection, and when the cord was plugged in, everything worked as expected.  But after attempting to use wireless again, the computer still indicates that it has connected to the wireless router but the internet will not work!  Please Help!
