Dell Optiplex 7010 SFF - fan replacement?

Hi,

Have a refurb Win 10, Dell Optiplex 7010 SFF - with a noisy fan - by the sound of it. Just arrived.

Is replacing the rear fan a big deal or can it be done swiftly please?

It has a SSD C-drive but also an internal disc back-up drive; however I have never heard a consistent noise from a disc drive, especially when not in use.

Many thanks

That isn't it - this Opitplex has a 'horn' type fan, & the plug is hidden away from view - going to have to remove hardware to get at it.

It sure is a noisy fan!

    Please advise,

    Thanks

Blower type fan is another way to put it.  Speedstep gave the right links, but you have to scroll down and dig a little.  Going from the link speedstep gave, here it is directly:  <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>

Might be YouTube videos on it too.  If not 7010 SFF, it'll be the same for 3010/9010 SFF models plus XX20's.

Yah, photos above show MT model.

It sounds like the noise is coming from the heat sink fan - the 'blower'.
