Hello.

I am no rookie, have had at least 100 different Optiplex computers in the past 3 years and have updated on them at least 300 times the BIOS.

I am now sitting in front of my 7480 AIO, which has a broken screen, so I can not enter the BIOS setup from the F2 or F12 menu ( I could enter, just wouldn't see anything due to the broken screen).

Am using the PC through 2 external monitors. 

So I have the only choice to update the BIOS within Windows 11 or wait weeks until the new BIOS will be included in the Windows Update options. 

I wish to update it now and not wait, because this BIOS version is a critical update.

I don't have McAfee and I deactivated the current antivirus product to no avail. Have no Bitlocker either.

However I still got this error (see title or the attached photo). I know other users had the same problem too, but they got an answer sort of "leave it alone if the PC runs fine" and their problem has not been resolved yet.

I wonder if any one has any good ideas for me this time?
