Maybe someone can help me here. So ive got a Raid6 Volume on my R720 running Esxi 6.7 U1. I've added an extra disk to my system and i can see it in idrac. I booted into the bios clicked Virtual Disk and added the Physical disk to the array and Confirmed then rebooted. When i am in Esxi i can't increase the volume. Looking in iDrac the disk says Ready not Online like the rest of them in the Raid. Is the array rebuilding in the background and i just can't see the status anywhere in iDrac? I know what people are going to say use OSMA, well i tried that but that is also an issue. Dell have OSMA not listed for R720 6.7 only 6.5. i was able to install ESXI Dell Custom Image for 6.7 U1 without any errors at all. According to the support online the processors are supported but some of the old R720 have non supported processors so it was pulled from support. I tried the OSMA package and it just errored from the CLI when i tried it via SSH i gave up. Will i be able to do this though OSMA though, why not iDrac seems a bit silly.
