emcpower device links do not exist in /dev/dsk and /dev/rdsk on Solaris 9
Hi
I have a Solaris Sun Fire 25K on Solaris 9(powerpath 5.2.2), I was checking the server today and i found that the emcpower device links do not exist in /dev/dsk and /dev/rdsk on Solaris 9, i ran the inq command and there are no emcpower devices; i checked these paths and those are empty, i dont no why, those devices are deleted.
/dev/dsk/emc*
/dev/rdsk/emc*
/devices/pseudo/emc*blk
/devices/pseudo/emc*raw
but i am worried about it due if a run the powermt display i got this output:
powermt display
Symmetrix logical device count=146
CLARiiON logical device count=0
Hitachi logical device count=0
Invista logical device count=0
HP xp logical device count=0
Ess logical device count=0
HP HSx logical device count=0

but there are no devices power what is happening?
i ran the devfsadm command after that i ran the powercf -q but when i ran this command i got this error
powercf -q
Unexpected error occurred.
Could you help me please, i think that if a perform a reboot with reconfiguration it is going to fix the issue(reboot -- -r) but i want to know if i need to do something before the reboot, perhaps to move the emcp.conf or move the power.custom or only if i perform the reboot -- -r it is going to fix it
Best regards
