I am trying to re-image my 745n and am following the documentation to a "T" in VP745NTS.pdf.  I have successfully created the USB key and set up a client computer and copied the four CDs to the client.  When I insert the USB ket in the 745 and reboot, I get the message

Remove Disks or other media

Press any key to restart

The doc VP745NTS.pdf (Reinstalling the operating system on the Dell PowerVault 745n) shows a screenshot of BIOS X13 and I have BIOS A06.  The docs show a 1. Hard-disk-emulated USB flash drive as a choice in "Hard-Disk Drive Sequence" but I do not have this option.  I only have 'System Bios boot devices' and "Slot 2 Dell CERC SATA"

The docs tell you to make Hard Drive C the first selection in the list for Boot Sequence.  I have Hard Drive C and I also have "Floppy Emulated USB flash drive" in Hard-Disk Drive Sequence, how is this supposed to boot?

I tried making "Floppy-emulated USB flash drive" the first boot device and this is where I get the message to remove disks and press any key to restart.  This is really frustrating.

I am using resource CD 3.4.9.2 and I have tried using the Dell USB memory stick and one of my own.  Any suggestions to at least get this to boot?

I went search further and found a revised USM memory stick Dell came out with that will allow you to use larger USB sticks.  I have tried my 128mb Dell USB plus a 256mb I have using both the new utility (PV745N_USBkey_Reinstallation_utility) and the original utility on the resourse CD.

If boot sequence is supposed to be Hard Drive C and I have no option for "Hard-disk-emulated USB flash drive" how will it boot?

I have Linuz on a portable USB drive and that boots fine so I know I don't have a hardware problem.  What can I do to access the image on my client if I can't get this to boot from a USB key?  Should I be trying other brands?
