I have posted here before about various little issues that I have had trying to get Samsung Magician to read from my PERC H310 controller. Windows sees all the drives as SCSI drives and not SATA drives for some reason.

I am unaware of better firmware to flash to PERC H310 with. The T7600 driver page doesn't have updated firmware past 2013 it looks like. I was hoping there would be something more up to date, but I'm under the impression that only the "server versions" of the firmware are being updated?

Are there guys out there using the onboard Intel controller? If so, what is needed, cabling and otherwise, to make that work? I am unsure of how to proceed.

Or have some of you upgraded away from the H310 to something better? H710?

Looking for some advice for this old dog! I can continue as things have been, but I would like to squeeze some more performance out of it.

I already have and AMD WX7100, 64GB RAM, and 2xe5-2667 cpu's so I'm doing great in that area. I have a Samsung 860 EVO for primary OS drive and 3 mechanical drives for additional storage.

I know this post is a little out there, but I would like to push this T7600 further!
