1700 printer
Have XPS 8300 desktop with 1700 printer. Recently, hit print button on web page and computer shuts down. Now, every time I turn on printer, computer shuts down. If I leave printer on and then restart desktop, printer will print documents. Tried uninstall and re-install drivers, didn't work. Anyone have similar problem or idea how to fix?

Hmmmm..... Very interesting.
When you say "shutdown", does this mean the shutdown process begins? or does the PC shutoff, as in power off?
Assume this printer is connected via USB?
What happens if you unplug the USB cable to the printer, startup the PC, then plug the cable back into the printer and print?
