Power conversion (2300MP)

Hi, 

 

I have a Dell 2300MP projector, and just moved to Austria from the US. My question is, can I use this projector without a power transformer? Can I simply use a european-style plug and not worrry about it? Does the 2300MP work with 220V? Thanks!

    Hi brian_choo,

     

    According to the specifications of the 2300MP, see http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/acc/2300MP/en/specs.htm , the projector will work from

     

     

    Power Supply Universal 100-240V AC 50-60Hz with PFC input

    so I don't think you need a converter.

     

    NB: I don't work for Dell, and I live in the UK, but as an electronics engineer this is my reading of the specs. However, caveat emptor.
