I was playing a dvd today, but it was running extremely choppy and slow. Bot video and sound was like it was buffering extremely slow or something. I have tried watching the video in several media players(cineplayer and wmp) but both have similar results. Also when the video is playing it is almost like it is lagging the computer greatly. The mouse curser lags, and all animations begin to lag. Even when I minimize with the video playing, it seems lagged, but once I pause or turn off the video it is fine. Also I find that when more is happening on the screen(faster movement on the screen) then the choppier the video becomes. This happens with both CDs and DVDs, but more so with DVDs as there is both audio and video. It is almost as if the buffer is unnable to go fast enough as the playback of the disc, but that would hardly make sense.
