Password Authentication System
Hello to anyone out there that can help me i bought a second hand dell latitude in great working order and haven't had a problem till now, we bought a cd rom for it and took the hard drive out and it worked fine 4 a few weeks then my husband was on the net one night as he had been many times before was fiddeling with the computer has pressed the wrong thing and now when we turn the power on it tells us this:
This computer system, #TT6DC**-D35B, is protected by a password authentication system. You cannot access the data on this computer without the correct password.
Please type in the primary or administrator password and press .
The person who previously owned it didnt set up any passwords on it and dell couldnt help us well thats what they said. So if anyone knows what is going on please help me. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bec Farrelly
