first of all, please apologize my bad english... I wish you can understand me ;-)

I believe I have a virus although Symantec antivirus doesn't identify any.

As a matter of fact, my directory c:\windows is not listed any longer in my explorer. Instead of having this directory, I have..the bin

Therefore, when I left click to scan it, I can see the repertory is there !

In addition, all shortcuts related to windows applications (calc, notepad, paint...) are not accessible

And last but not least when I open the DOS windows and try to use dir or chkdsk or scandisk instruction, nothing runs...

I cannot find any information on that problems and the worst of it is that I can see no difference when working on my computer...
