Hi,

Apart from the steps provided by article mentioned by Jyoti, as a best practice you also need to check out your current workload on SPs and urgency of the lun migration.

In the Lun migration process you can define the operations priority as "High, Medium or Low".

Prefer to create destination lun with same SP of source lun to avoid the migration operations went through across SPs so, it will not consume much utilization of channel.

I hope, your query is intended to within VNX lun migration which usually happens for increased size of existing production lun or similar requirements.

You query confusing me when you are using word "VNX Cluster".
