Can't re-install Windows from bootable USB/Support OS Cloud - Vostro 5402

Hi guys, been having a nightmare with my laptop all day. To get right to the point, I was testing a Linux distribution on an external SSD drive and somehow (I have no idea how, given the Linux test was running on a completely separate external drive) it has managed to blitz the interface drivers for the laptop's internal NVMe hard drive.

I tried creating a restore media with Dell Support OS using my machine's service tag - every time I try and restore, it says no disc can be found to do a cloud restore. Thus, I have created a manual recovery media, but even it doesn't see the hard drive to allow Windows to be installed.

I booted into a Hiren's media, and using the Hard Drive tools there, I can see that the drive is active, it is live......it is now empty, with nothing on it, normal NTFS file format and such.

I have downloaded a number of the Dell Serial ATA Rapid Storage drivers for my make laptop, but I can't find a way to actually get them installed so that a Windows installation will start seeing the disc. I extracted the drivers, but can't find any "signed" drivers Windows wants to see when I try to load the drivers at the Windows installation screen. The laptop's own Dell diagnostic tests give the hard drive a clean bill of health, green ticks.....so its defo there and working - I'm just unsure how to get the drivers installed so Windows can see it.

Can anyone offer some pointers please?

Thanks,
