Boot disk and boot from remote A drive
I have a desktop 2400 pc and ordered it without a floppy A drive not realising I would need one to run an application. I have added a remote USB floppy drive but this does not boot when switched on. Also can anyone help me make a boot disk which I can use in DOS that will enable me to run wargames that only work in DOS.
Hope this is clear and thanks in advance for any help.
Regards

you need to change your boot start-up to USB this can be done by powering your computer then press "del."
you should try making boot-disk on a windows 98 platform, this way it could boot up on start-up and you will then have a selection where you want your operating system to run... choose "command-prompt only" this will boot you to a DOS environment.
Enjoy!
